Only an official work address can do this — .edu, .org or a country code. Personal Gmail and Yahoo accounts are refused.
From the admin panel, teachers and students are created by name or roll number. A one-time password is shown once, to print and hand out.

Separation is enforced inside the database itself, not by application code. Every row carries its organization, and every query is filtered against the signed-in account before a single record is returned.
